Greetings From The Granddaughter
Dear Neighbors, Friends, Followers and Lovers of Delicious Baked Goods (yes, that's an official title here),
Social media updates are fine and fun and convenient, but I thought it might be interesting to be able to share more about the business that so many of your have grown to love, and have so graciously supported over the past 1-5 years.
On April 15th, our Pocono Lake, PA shop turns one year old. Later this year (in October) we'll celebrate our sixth year in business overall. We're keeping it all low key as as we reserve our annual celebration for the week of Grandma's birth — what we consider to be the real reason that this little piece of joy exists in the world. We'll share more news on that week as August approaches.
In the meantime, I'm committing to personally keep in touch with all of you approximately once per week — right here. Of course, Facebook and Instagram will still be full of our ongoing updates about our product, special events, sales, what's new and what's delicious...so keep in touch by following us through our links at the bottom of this site page. We always love when you check-in from the shop or share photos of how you enjoy our space and our treats. Your smiling faces and mouths full of cookies and pies are the fuel of any true baker. Grandma baked because it made her happy to make others happy...and because PA Dutch families must have pie! We follow in her loving footsteps.
I'm always available via email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions; want to figure out how to work with us; are planning a wedding, meeting or other special event or have feedback that you would like to share.
Grandma loves ya!
